Upon Confirmation to block your seat: 

• To book your trip, you have to follow the following steps

• Transfer 25% of payment of the journey amount(Non- Refundable).  Balance payment is to be paid 30 days prior to the trip starting date in case of trips within India & 50 days prior in case of any trips outside India. Sandarshita reserves the right to change/request money on a trip-to-trip basis.​

• In case, you are booking the journey with us within 30 days of the trip commencement day, 
  we will need 100% amount of the journey paid towards the journey for us to confirm the seat for you.

• You should book your travel tickets ONLY after Your receiving confirmation of journey (COJ) from Sandarshita

• You will be receiving the timing preferences for the flight from Sandarshita

 

Booking Conditions: 
• A trip will be organised if minimum 8 guests are confirmed to travel on the trip. 
• In case the trip gets cancelled from our end, we will refund the amount paid by you towards the journey
and there will be no refund for the airtickets. We advise you to secure your tickets cancellation amount
and book the tickets through our partnered company at flexible pricing. Please speak to the Sandarshita Team 
for same. 
• If there are less than 7 people for a journey, and if they ask us to, we may continue with the journey with 
additional costs, if any. 
• Our trips start from the destination airports, and does not include flights. Hence Sandarshita is not liable for any 
charges, including flight cancellation charges, if trips are cancelled or changed due to any reason.
• Detailed essentials and packing list for the journey will be shared 30 days prior to the journey. 
• Full Payment of the trip cost must be made 30 days (50 days in International trips) before the trip begins. Pending Payment may eventually lead cancelling your participation in the trip we are hosting. 

• All payments to be made in advance before boarding the vehicle. We reserve the right to hold you from boarding the vehicle without a proper payment receipt at our end for any tours/travel groups for women.

• Your booking confirmation is an acceptance of the terms & conditions.

 

Cancellation Policy: 

​

• Booking amount & Airline / Railway or any pre-purchased travel tickets: (Non-Refundable & Non- Transferable)

• 61 days & above prior to trip start date: Full refund is provided

• 45 - 60 days prior to trip start date: 50% of the Tour/Service cost is forfeited

• 30 - 45 days prior to trip start date: 70% of the Tour/Service cost is forfeited

• 0 - 30 days prior to trip start date: No Refund as 100% of the Tour/Service cost is forfeited

• If the trip is cancelled by Sandarshita due to any reasons, you will be refunded 100% of the trip amount (without flights)

• If the trip is postponed or cancelled due to Covid kind situations, norms as per the government, you will be extended a credit note for the amount paid, which can be used for future trips.

• Shall there be a special grace period for making the payments, the cancellation policy shall be applicable and in the event of non-payment of funds legal action shall be taken, any legal fees/operational fees will have to be borne by the client.

 

Note: Written cancellation/Email will be accepted on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent

on Saturday / Sunday or public holidays will be considered on the next working day (Monday).

 

​VISA:

In case your visa gets rejected for any particular destination or if you are denied entry into a country, please note that we are not liable for any refunds because the embassy holds the right to grant/reject the visa. We recommend that you apply for the visa after discussing with us or directly through us to ensure timely receipt of visas & relevant travel documents; for a piece of paper must not be responsible to miss amazing solo trips for females. If however, your visa is denied due to any reasons, we shall assist you in getting the maximum possible refund after deducting charges for non refundable components. We cannot give an absolute number, but we will try the best to reduce your loss.

Experiences: 
• We keep our trips flexible, so you can enjoy it to fullest. However, any additional activity/places to be 
covered will be at additional cost and will be covered only if the majority of the group wants to cover.

• No delays will be made in departure timings owing to any participant getting late. Please report on time and clear your payments and ID checks. 
• The Air Conditioning in the vehicle generally is advised to be switched off in the hills/mountain terrain for 
safety of the travellers and ease of travel along uneven & dangerous routes. Switching off of the air 
conditioning will be at driver discretion. 
• You are booking full trip with us, and no refunds shall be made towards any inclusion(s)/experiences not 
availed by the Client.
• We keep many activities like adventure as optional since some people may not want to do those activities. 
Hence, the cost of such activities is additional, to be borne by those who want to avail it.
• No trade-offs with cost of the journey shall be made towards any inclusion(s)/experiences not wanting to 
avail by the Sandarshita

• Itinerary can be changed due to operational issues or logistical challenges, however, we will try and ensure all important sightseeing points & activities are covered, or we will add alternate options. (Please note, the itinerary cannot be a valid case for any refunds/disputes).

• Sandarshita also acts as a platform to connect women travellers and women travel companies located around the world & cannot be held responsible for any service issues/refunds/claims wherein the tour is not directly organised or supervised by any active member of the team Sandarshita

• Sandarshita team or its members are not responsible to ensure that operational activities are arranged or available. The cost & availability of the optional activities are not controlled by us & hence the onus of registering oneself for any such activities will be on the traveler (customer). The respective tour buddy from the Sandarshita team can be contacted for activity information or vendors for doing the optional activities (Definition of optional activity: Any adventure sports or any type of sightseeing, games, sports which are paid by the traveller herself and not in the inclusion).

Insurance: 
• Sandarshita shall not be responsible for any delays or alterations in the program or indirectly 
incurred expenses in cases such as Natural Hazards, accident, breakdown of machinery, weather 
conditions, Flight delays, landslides, political closure, Traffic jams or any other incident not in control 
of Sandarshita directly.

• Shall there be any changes in the flight timings/baggage policy/ cancellation etc. Sandarshita will not be responsible for the same. You may contact the respective airline directly. We shall assist all our guests and friends who join our women's travel groups or customised trips arranged for women traveling solo in India.
• We highly recommend you signing up for insurance policy covering the expenditure of 
sickness/accidents or any losses incurred due to theft or any other mishaps, your trip and adventure 
you would be attempting. Please speak to our team to know more about the additional insurance 
cost. 
• Injuries, illness and any other such mishap is not covered under trip costs.

Sandarshita Etiquette at destinations: 
• Here at Sandarshita, we stand united in recognising the incredible power of women as a force of positivity.
Hence, we have strictly Zero tolerance policy for shaming anyone, including but not limited to fellow 
travellers,Travel Buddy, other people, hotel staff, drivers, locals and in general, just about anybody. 
• We also have strict no tolerance policy against groupism, bullying anyone or in general making or 
acting in ways that can harm mental peace or enjoyment of others around you. 
• No act of misconduct or indiscipline shall be tolerated on the trips.
• Rudeness serves no purpose. Any form of Misbehaviour and / or Rude behaviour with our Travel Buddys will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We hold our people with respect, and we 
expect the same from you. We reserve the right to cancel your trip in the middle of the journey for 
breach this, and above three points.
• Respect yours and others' time. It will help us have more fun. Your delay can mean missing out on 
some inclusions. Sandarshita will not be liable for missing out on inclusions due to delays created by any one 
or more Travellers on the trip. 
• Travellers must take care of their luggage & belongings. Sandarshita shall not be accountable for missing items 
along the tour.
• Kindly listen to your Travel Buddy for smooth journey.

Accommodation: 
• Check-in & Check-out timings will be as per hotel rules & regulations.
• Carry your original valid identity card to show at the Hotel for check-ins & checkouts and for any kind 
of on-the-go permits. In case of some states in North India, Aadhar card is not accepted as valid 
document. One can provide Passport /Voter’s Id
• We understand the critical nature of your sleeping arrangements and for solo trips for females we always try to provide twin beds in double rooms (subject to availability at the discretion of the hotel) and one big bed +mattress in case three women travellers are sharing & opt for a triple sharing room. (It shall be mutually decided who would occupy which bedding type, failing which the Travel buddy shall offer the best available alternative within the same hotel/accommodation or outside. Please note, any extra charges applicable would be borne by the person who has requested the alternate arrangement).

Food on the journey: 
• Stay and the meal plan will be as mentioned in the day-wise plan in the itinerary shared.
For any special meal plan kindly connect with the team before the journey.
• All the breakfast and Dinners will be vegetarian. You are free to have your choice of meal at an 
additional cost if there is an option available in the Hotel. 
• The food provided in the Hotels will be as per general destination standards. 
• You may wish to have a meal at some other place, or outside of what is included in the trip. You are 
free to do so at your own costs, and without disturbing the trip timelines and routine.

 

Journeys: 
• Airport pick-up and drop-off will be at a fixed location and time as mentioned in the itinerary. In case you 
choose to arrive/depart at different timings, airport transfers will be at an additional cost. 

• You must possess a passport which is valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of your arrival date back in India in case of an International Trip.
• Solo Travel Time – Definition: Your independent exploration during free time or if you opt to venture 
solo without the group. If you decide to spend time apart from the group, please inform the Travel Buddy Ensure you have reviewed the safety guidelines provided by the local team, as you will be 
responsible for your safety while traveling alone. In case as a group you choose to do additional 
sightseeing; the entire cost will be distributed among the Travellers wanting to go. While Travel Buddy
will be accompanying the group but will not be liable to pay for same. 
• Any kind of disagreement or dissatisfaction with the service during the journey is to be communicated to 
the Travel Buddy immediately. It will help us give you better service on the journey itself.

SAFETY​

Please be aware that during your participation in women's trips/ customized tours operated by Sandarshita, certain circumstances may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft, or other means of transportation; forces of nature; political unrest; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. Sandarshita will not have liability regarding any unforeseen events during, after, or before the course of the tour. While Sandarshita will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken, by agreeing to participate in a tour and/or optional excursions you agree that you will hold Sandarshita harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. Payment of your deposit indicates you accept these risks and dangers and agree to hold Sandarshita harmless for the same. Any disputes whatsoever will be subjected to Delhi jurisdiction only.

Confidentiality of Information: 
• The photos/videos content created on Sandarshita  trip (by The Travel BuddyPhotographer 
onboard) is the property of Sandarshita and can only be used by Sandarshita for advertising 
across media platforms. 
• The digital content created by Sandarshita cannot be used without obtaining the rightful permissions by 
the concerned team at Sandarshita. 

• When you sign up for the trip if you do not want us to feature your picture or if you don’t want you to be seen in any video/photograph on our social media then you are requested to alert us before the trip as we post stories/videos/pictures of the women group trips during/after the trip for our followers who expect to see fresh content from Indian travel blogs like us. We try to post engaging content to promote women's solo travel on our social media & sometimes to announce our future trips for women as well.
• The photo consent form (Signed by you separately) is part of these terms and conditions​
